According to the Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC), Google will not be releasing the Pixel Fold. According to Young, Google felt that the device wouldn’t be as competitive as it needed to be in order for it to succeed.
The Pixel Fold was supposed to be about the same size as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, with a 120Hz LTPO internal display. It wasn’t expected to have an under-display camera, but its camera system was designed to match that of the Pixel 5 series rather than the Pixel 6 series.
Several leakers had previously suggested that the Pixel Fold would be released this year.
