Apple has said that it will have a major event on October 18, and we expect the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros to be the main attraction.
The information comes from Ross Young, an analyst at Display Supply Chain Consultants.
The Internet favorite also took to Twitter after the Apple Inc. event on October 18 to report that the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will have micro-LED display technology as well as support for 120Hz refresh rates.
The release of the iPhone 13 Pro, which included 120Hz ProMotion display technology, was earlier this year, bringing the iPad Pro’s feature to iPhones for the first time.
There are no confirmed details about the new MacBook Pro’s display, which is 60 percent faster than last year’s models.
Apple’s October 18 event will begin at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET, as previously stated.
Both the iPad Pro and the MacBook Pro use LG Display and Sharp as their display suppliers. Backplanes made of oxide, miniLED backlights, and 120Hz refresh rates are all expected. MiniLEDs, 100 percent confirmed.
