Motorola’s lineup of mobile phones covers low-end to high-end price points. The Moto G Play is the latest addition to Motorola’s line of inexpensive smartphones, and its release today marks the company’s announcement of that expansion (2023).
The Moto G Play(2023) is a smartphone that can be purchased in the United States and Canada. It includes a number of interesting features, including a triple-sensor camera. The primary camera has a resolution of 16 megapixels, while the macro and depth sensors each have a resolution of 2 megapixels. A 5-megapixel front-facing camera is also included.
Features like Auto Smile capture, Smart Composition, and Dual Capture, which are enabled by artificial intelligence, help these cameras take better pictures.
The display is another intriguing feature. The Moto G Play’s screen features a refresh rate of 90Hz, which is typical for mid-range smartphones. Its 20:9 aspect ratio HD+ display, measuring in at 6.5 inches, should be great for media consumption.
Furthermore, Motorola promises that the phone’s 5000mAh battery would last for three days on a single charge. From what I can see, the maximum power output when connected charging is 10W.
It comes with 32GB of storage space out of the box. If you still need more space, the Moto G Play (2023) supports microSD cards with capacities of up to 512GB.
