Features of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 Leaked Ahead of Launch

Samsung is set to unveil its latest foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, at the Galaxy Unpacked event on July 10. Ahead of the official launch, renowned leakster Evan Blass has released images and details of these highly anticipated devices.

Design and Build

Both the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are expected to feature IP48 dust and water resistance, ensuring durability under various conditions. The devices will also come equipped with Samsung’s advanced Galaxy AI, enhancing user experience with intelligent features.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a 6.3-inch outer display, slightly larger than its predecessor’s 6.2-inch screen, while maintaining a 7.6-inch inner display. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, this foldable phone promises top-tier performance. Both screens will support a 120Hz variable refresh rate and boast a peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits.

Leaked images reveal that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have an Armor Aluminum frame, contrary to earlier rumors of a Titanium frame. The cover screen will be protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Storage options for the Z Fold 6 will include 12GB of RAM and choices of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. The device will feature a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide sensor, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. Additionally, there will be a 10MP front camera on the cover screen.

Similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and feature an Armor Aluminum frame. The Z Flip 6 will come with a 6.7-inch foldable main screen and a 3.4-inch outer display. The outer display will run at 60Hz, while the inner display will support a 120Hz variable refresh rate.

The Z Flip 6 will be available with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB and 512GB. It will have a dual camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor, along with a 10MP selfie camera. The device is capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps with all its cameras. Notably, the Z Flip 6 will see a battery upgrade to 4,000 mAh, an increase from the 3,700 mAh battery in the Z Flip 5, and will be thinner than its predecessor.
