The new release date and signature colours for the Samsung Galaxy S23 have leaked

We haven’t seen the Samsung Galaxy S23 family of phones yet, but we’ve heard plenty of rumours and leaks about them, and the most recent information to reach us concerns the’signature colours’ of the smartphones.

Proven ability to predict when Samsung product information will be released. Those particular hues are known as “signature colours” because they are so prevalent in advertising and promotional materials.

Apparently, the regular Galaxy S23 will be green, the Galaxy S23 Plus will be light gold/pink gold, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be pink. The three mobile devices will also come in a variety of additional colours.

Conjectured release date

According to another report from credible source Ice Universe, the Galaxy S23 will be released on February 1st, a Wednesday. However, further tweets indicate that February 2 is more realistic for “much of the world.”

South Korea is where Samsung is headquartered, and its time zone is much ahead of that of both Europe and the United States. Given these factors, it makes the most sense to have the Galaxy Unpacked presentation on February 1 in the evening in South Korea.

Reports of a later February release date have also surfaced, however it’s conceivable that this is only the day the phones will go on sale and not the actual date of their introduction.

The same layout, but with upgraded guts

The speculations surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S23 are far from certain until Samsung officially introduces the smartphones, but it seems like the physical design of the 2023 models won’t change much from the 2022 models.

The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra have all been previewed via dummy units, and they all appear quite similar to their predecessors in terms of style and configuration. However, the Ultra’s protruding camera design might be adopted by the basic and Plus variants.

The internals of the Galaxy S23 series are set to be improved, with newer Snapdragon and potentially Exynos CPUs powering the device. This should result in a more responsive and fluid user experience. The most recent version of Android will likely preinstalled on the phones.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 might mimic the Apple iPhone 14 by including satellite connection as a fallback option for when customers’ primary means of accessing the internet (such as Wi-Fi or cellular networks) are unavailable. Meanwhile, the back cameras should take the best photographs and movies of any smartphone to date.
