Tetra Pak Welcomes Giancarlos Larocca as New Marketing Director for Oceania

Giancarlos Larocca has been appointed as the new marketing director for Tetra Pak’s Oceania region, the global leader in food processing and packaging solutions announced today. Larocca, who relocated from Italy to Melbourne, steps into his new role following Jaymie Pagdato’s transition to sales director after a successful six-year tenure.

With over a decade of experience in processing, packaging solutions, and marketing, Larocca brings valuable insights to Tetra Pak Oceania. His career with Tetra Pak began in 2015 as a marketing manager, and he has since held various roles, including his most recent position as global category manager. His extensive work across Italy and the Americas has significantly contributed to the company’s growth and innovation.

“Giancarlos is a fantastic addition to the Tetra Pak Oceania team. His extensive B2B and B2C marketing experience, along with his comprehensive knowledge of Tetra Pak’s global offerings, will be a tremendous asset to our regional business. We’re excited to have him on board,” said Boris Munster, managing director of Tetra Pak Oceania.

In his new role, Larocca will prioritize delivering value to Tetra Pak’s regional customers and suppliers through innovation, collaboration, and clear communication. He plans to capitalize on global consumer and category trends to drive growth, particularly in the rapidly expanding plant-based food and beverage sectors. Larocca is also committed to enhancing Tetra Pak’s positive impact on the environment and the community, aiming to meet and exceed stakeholder expectations in Oceania. His vision includes implementing sustainable development strategies that will strengthen Tetra Pak’s market position and support the growth of its brand partners.

This new appointment marks an important step for Tetra Pak as it continues to solidify its leadership in the food processing and packaging industry in Oceania.
