Samsung Electronics has unveiled its new entry-level Galaxy Watch FE this week, slated for availability in Australia starting July 1. This new addition to the Galaxy Watch lineup comes with a sleek aluminium case and will be offered in a single 40mm size. It boasts a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display, delivering vibrant and sharp visuals.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Watch FE is powered by the last-gen Exynos W920 chip, as opposed to the newer W930. It is equipped with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, ensuring smooth performance and ample space for apps and data. The watch is powered by a 247mAh battery, which should provide adequate usage time between charges.
In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Watch FE offers LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi capabilities. It runs on OneUI Watch 5 and Wear OS 4, aligning it with Samsung’s flagship smartwatches.
