Key information from the Samsung Galaxy S23’s leaked spec sheet is revealed

Next week, the Samsung Galaxy S23 phones will have been formally introduced, and we will no longer have any leaks surrounding the smartphones to report on, like as the entire specs sheet that recently leaked on the web.

Suggestion from a reputable source The Roland Quandt spec sheet details all of the phone’s features, from battery life to camera resolution, for all three S23 models: the base model, the S23 Plus, and the S23 Ultra.

If you don’t want to be spoiled for Samsung’s Unpacked event on February 1, don’t read any further. We’ll be there to provide live coverage, and so can anybody who wants to tune in online.

The aesthetic value of one’s spectacles

The 120Hz displays on this year’s smartphones range in size from 6.1 inches on the Samsung Galaxy S23 to 6.6 inches on the Galaxy S23 Plus and 6.8 inches on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (and a stylus).

The S23 and S23 Plus have 8GB of RAM, while the Ultra has either 8GB or 12GB. The standard model has 128GB of storage space, the Plus has 256GB, and the Ultra has 512GB, 1TB, or 2TB. There’s no mention of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU within here, but be assured that it will be present.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus trade the 200MP primary camera for a 50MP model, while the Ultra receives a triple-lens 200MP+12MP+10MP rear camera but a lower-resolution 12MP front camera (it was 40MP on the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra).

Few judicious refinements

Consistent with our experience with previous flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S23 promises just minor improvements over its predecessor. All three displays are the same size as their 2017 counterparts, although the basic S23 has had its maximum brightness increased to 1,750 nits from 1,300 nits to be in line with the displays on the other two devices.

It is unclear what additional improvements and optimizations Samsung has built into the 2023 technology, but the main camera on the back of the Ultra model increases from 108MP to 200MP, which is the sole difference in terms of megapixels.

S23 and S23 Plus models’ battery capacity have been increased somewhat, from 3,700mAh to 3,900mAh and from 4,500mAh to 4,700mAh. The Galaxy S23 Ultra maintains the same 5,000 mAh capacity as its predecessor, but it’s important to keep in mind that battery capacity is just one of several aspects that contribute to battery life.

Assuming everything is being operated by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, the performance of your 2023 Android smartphone should be unparalleled. Although we have to wait until Wednesday for these specifications to be finalised, we are looking forward to what is on the horizon.
