Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare Set for PC Release on October 29

For the first time ever, Red Dead Redemption and its fan-favorite expansion Undead Nightmare are making their debut on PC this October 29. PC gamers will finally get to experience John Marston’s iconic journey with a host of upgrades specifically tailored for the platform, offering a fresh take on this legendary adventure.

Rockstar, in collaboration with Double Eleven, has packed this PC release with enhancements to fully leverage modern hardware. Players can expect stunning 4K resolution at up to 144Hz on compatible systems, along with support for Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors, which will truly bring the vast landscapes of the Wild West to life. HDR10 support further enhances the game’s visual depth, delivering vivid colors and sharper contrasts for an immersive experience.

For those looking to push the limits of performance, the game features support for cutting-edge NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, as well as NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, which helps deliver smoother frame rates. In addition, players can tweak various graphical settings, such as adjusting draw distances and shadow quality, ensuring they can fully customize their gameplay. With full keyboard and mouse functionality, this PC version promises a flexible and seamless gaming experience.

Rockstar has released a brand-new trailer (check it out above) to give fans a taste of these visual upgrades. Stay tuned for more details coming later this week, including how to pre-order Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare from the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Currently available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox, Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare have already captured the hearts of players on various platforms. However, the upcoming PC version promises an unmatched level of detail and performance that sets it apart, making this the definitive way to experience the Wild West adventure and the eerie thrill of Undead Nightmare. Keep an eye out for more updates as the October 29 release date approaches!
