At long last, the new design for YouTube’s Android widgets (which has been in beta testing since at least November) is being sent out to the general public. If you’re on Android version 13, you can finally get your hands on the new and improved widgets this week.
These widgets are compatible with Android 13’s Material You, so their appearance will adapt to your wallpaper and theme as you customise them. Very pretty. YouTube’s video collection, your subscriptions, Shorts, Home, and your own uploaded videos can all be accessed with a single click thanks to the widgets. Overall, you have a total of two widgets to choose from.
If you like the way they appear, you can try them out by adding them to your device’s widget homepage. You should find them on Android 13 and YouTube version 17.46.37.
