iRacing has exciting developments in store for its community, particularly those who have recently purchased the Gen2 Ford Mustang or Holden Commodore. In recognition of their investment, iRacing will offer special credits to these customers with the launch of Season 1 on December 10.
Greg Hill, the executive producer, shared details about the upcoming season: “We are excited to release the Supercars Chevrolet Camaro Gen 3 and the Supercars Ford Mustang Gen 3 in our next season update. These vehicles missed inclusion in our last update but are now fully developed with state-of-the-art physics, tire technology, and enhanced graphical fidelity.”
Hill continued, “As a token of our appreciation, we are issuing credits to those who bought the current Supercars Ford Mustang GT and Supercars Holden ZB Commodore in the past year. The credit amount will be based on how recent the purchase was made, effective until the new cars are released on December 10. Subsequently, these models will be designated as [Legacy] content and will be phased out from competitive racing.”
Additionally, the iRacing team is set to capture the Adelaide 500 circuit digitally at this year’s event from November 14-17. “Our team will be in Adelaide, equipped with cameras and scanners to digitally document this famous city track,” Hill noted. “If you’re there, feel free to stop by and say hi to our team—just mind the scanning gear!”
This initiative is part of iRacing’s ongoing efforts to update its offerings and keep the simulation engaging for its dedicated players, ensuring they feel valued and connected to the virtual racing experience.
