In the upcoming weeks, Microsoft intends to update Bing with a faster version of ChatGPT

According to a recent claim from Semafor, Microsoft is trying to integrate GPT-4, an updated version of OpenAI’s ChatGPT, into Bing in the next weeks in an effort to better compete with Google. According to Semafor‘s sources, GPT-4 reacts significantly more quickly than ChatGPT and sounds more human in its responses.

Microsoft’s planned integration of ChatGPT into its own products is seen as a threat to Google’s dominant position in the internet search market.

The OpenAI team is also said to be working on a GPT app for mobile devices.

According to the source, the business is also considering testing an AI-powered movie generator in its famous image-creation programme, Dall-E.

There have been rumours over the last month that Microsoft is working on integrating ChatGPT into Bing search results and incorporating OpenAI’s language AI technology into Office applications like Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as reported by The Information.

This revelation coincides with Microsoft’s announcement last week that it will spend “multi-year, multi-billion dollars” in its cooperation with OpenAI. Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, recently told The Wall Street Journal that the company intends to make OpenAI’s core tools accessible as commercial platforms that may be used by any organisation, regardless of field.
