iOS 13’s revamped Apple Maps to get indoor mapping, 3D view.

In the Maps application, Apple is now slowly but steadily providing 3D city views. You may now pinch and zoom around a three-dimensional map of London starting today.

By the end of the year, Apple plans to bring 3D maps to Washington DC; San Diego; and Philadelphia.

When you upgrade to Google Earth Pro, the app takes advantage of premium features like terrain enhancement and 3D terrain modeling. You’ll see more detail in elevation for each city, as well as new street names and landmarks such as Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the Statue of Liberty in New York City, and the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The iOS app is currently available on the App Store, and it will soon include enhanced CarPlay navigation. It’s possible that public transportation users will find it simpler to get around as well. If you enter your route, the software may notify you when it’s time to get off the bus or subway.
