Connecting to a car’s USB port, Android Auto wireless adapters are game-changing gadgets that take over our phones wirelessly. One of the greatest wireless AA dongles on the market right now is the Motorola MA1 adapter from Motorola. There is, however, a looming question mark about the product’s actual availability. One retailer’s stock is soon sold out, leaving potential consumers chilly. The adaptor surfaced lately in Best Buy locations before disappearing as quickly as it appeared elsewhere.
The device was first made available at Target and Amazon in January, but just recently arrived at Best Buy without any notice. Without any warning, consumers rushed to get their hands on the $90 dongle. It was clear that inventory levels could not keep up with demand at this rate. There are 17 positive customer reviews on Best Buy’s site with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5. Of course, this is wonderful news for Motorola.
As of the time of this writing, Motorola Sound does not sell the MA1 adapter directly and instead refers customers to Amazon, where there are no listings for the adapter there at now. Your local Target shop may have the same problem. eBay does carry a few pieces in the $120 range, but it doesn’t seem right to give the scalpers what they want. For the record.
The Android Auto-compatible head unit in your vehicle and your Moto MA1 phone have a rock-solid connection thanks to the Moto MA1’s excellent reliability. There are no cumbersome cords, and you don’t even have to take your phone out of your pocket or bag to use this feature. So it’s understandable that the general population in the United States, particularly those planning road trips during the summer, would find this device so alluring.
