According to a new 9to5Google report, Google Messages may be getting an upgrade that will improve the messaging experience on Android.
If an iPhone user sends a message to a phone number that is incompatible with Android, the conversation will be carried on the SMS protocol since iOS does not support RCS and iMessage isn’t accessible on Android.
Another line of text suggests that Google Messages may remind you of a contact’s birthday.
