Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S23’s upgraded photos and videos

We’ve been hearing a lot of rumours and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy S23 line of phones recently, and the most recent ones suggest that the phones’ cameras will be improved.

Ice Universe, a reliable source of leaks, claims that the new Galaxy S23 phones will be capable of shooting 8K video at 30 frames per second. That’s an improvement above the previous standard, which applied to all three Galaxy S22 phones at a rate of 24 fps.

The shift to 8K quality for video may not seem like a huge one, but it’s sure to be appreciated by viewers all the same. The 2023 top of the line models will have better video quality.

Furthermore enhanced

In addition, Ice Universe claims that the Galaxy S23 Ultra will shoot “clearer” images during the day, as well as photos with “greater details and more saturation.”

While there isn’t much detail, it seems to back up previous claims that the Galaxy S23 series, and the Ultra in particular, would take far better photos and videos.

The rumours suggest that Ice Universe has access to a Galaxy S23 prototype or has at least seen the findings of its back cameras in advance of their official release. It is anticipated that the new phones would be introduced in February of 2023.

Improving the quality of cameras is a top priority

The quality of smartphone cameras has advanced to the point that it is challenging for manufacturers to make significant advances in the technology from year to year. Improvements to the Galaxy S23’s camera and video recording capabilities appear to be slight.

The triple-lens back cameras of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus offered 3x optical zoom, while the quad-lens rear camera of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra provided 10x magnification.

There has been speculation that the Ultra model may receive a 200MP camera in the rear next year, which will undoubtedly result in major advancements in both low-light shooting and telephoto zoom. The other cameras on the module’s back, though, appear to be staying the same.

The possibility of a camera improvement in the Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus has received less attention. The speculations that have circulated thus far imply that there won’t be much of an update in terms of physical components, while software algorithms may always be enhanced.
