The headliner at UFC 255 is a flyweight title match between reigning champion Deiveson “Deus de Guerra” Figueiredo and Alex Perez. Figueiredo, fighting out of Brazil, boasts an impressive record of 19 wins and only one loss (with that defeat coming by decision), making him the most dominant flyweight in the men’s division. His challenger, American fighter Alex Perez, is ranked fourth on the UFC flyweight roster and has 24 wins under his belt along with five losses. Figueiredo won the vacant flyweight belt this July at UFC Fight Night 172 where he defeated Joseph Benavidez for the second time. UFC 255 will be his first title defense.

The co-main event at UFC 255 is another championship showdown, with women’s flyweight champion Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko (19-3) defending her title belt against Jennifer Maia (17-6). Both are top-ranked talent: Shevchenko, fighting out of Russia, is number three on the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings, while Maia holds the third spot on the women’s flyweight roster. With a history in kickboxing, Shevchenko is well-known for her aggressive and strike-heavy fighting style, which she will no doubt employ at UFC 255 against Maia’s tight ground game. All four of the fighters in the two main events are walking into the UFC Apex arena following recent victories, but only two will walk out of the Octagon victorious.

The UFC 255 main card airs this Saturday at 10 p.m. ET and is a pay-per-view event, so if you want to watch it live this Saturday, then the best way to save is to sign up for The Disney Bundle ($12.99 per month) with the additional one time $64.99 PPV.
