OnePlus has announced the launch date and official image for the OnePlus 11

Here’s some additional information about OnePlus 11: OnePlus confirmed that the flagship phone’s official launch date is January 4 in China and released official pictures of the device in two colour options.

The fact that this information originated on the Chinese social network Weibo suggests that this will be a very localised launch event. But be assured, no matter where in the world you purchase it, your phone will be same.

We expect to learn more about worldwide availability and price during the OnePlus launch event that will take place on Tuesday, February 7; this is despite the fact that the all of the phone’s specifications will have been made public by that point.

Aesthetics of the spectacles

OnePlus has been quite forthcoming on its Weibo page with information on the OnePlus 11’s features, specifications, and promotional photographs. Official launch events are scheduled for January and February, although there isn’t much left to tell at those times.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU will be powering the device, while the base memory configuration will be 12GB, up from 8GB in the OnePlus 10 Pro released earlier this year.

There has been a lot of speculation about the design of the phone, and the official photos confirm the speculation. According to Google Translate, OnePlus calls the big opening for the camera module on the back a “black hole-inspired aesthetic design.”

The year 2023 ushers in a new decade of mobile devices

If the launch event in China on January 4 is considered the formal debut, then the OnePlus 11 will be the first premium smartphone to hit the market in 2023. Being the first to market has certain advantages, but it also gives competitors more time to perfect their own smartphones.

The newest reports suggest that on February 1 (a Wednesday) Samsung would officially unveil the Galaxy S23 line of smartphones. The Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra are three flagship smartphones that will be on display.

After that, in October, when Google’s previous Pixel smartphones were released, comes the Google Pixel 8. Before that, though, Google is rumoured to unveil both a foldable phone and a mid-range Pixel 7a.

With its release, the iPhone 15 will compete with Android’s top-tier devices. We expect to see many iPhone 15 models released by Apple in September, and rumours have already suggested that the camera will get a significant boost and that some versions may even have solid-state buttons, if Apple keeps to its typical release schedule.
