Guardians of the Galaxy: The Best Graphics in PC Gaming

The Guardians of the Galaxy video game from Marvel appears to be developing into a sleeper hit, at least when it comes to relying on all of the newest graphical bells and whistles.

“PC players will enjoy this stunning universe’s visuals with even higher performance”, said Olivier Proulx, senior producer at Eidos-Montréal.

He’s not making a hyperbole when he tells you the trailer has resolutions up to 8K natively, diffuse lighting, HDR, wide color gamut, ray-tracing, and Nvidia DLSS technology that improves visuals to higher resolutions without sacrificing performance.

Someone to keep an eye on

There’s a lot about the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy game that interests us. The Marvel gaming franchise and developer Eidos-Montreal are in need of a hit.

The Marvel Avengers game was panned by critics, and it arrived on Xbox Game Pass far sooner than many people had predicted or hoped for.

While Eidos-Montreal has produced some excellent games, particularly its Deus Ex series, they’ve never really connected with a wide audience.

The Guardians of the Galaxy is shaping up to be quite a ride. It will be available for play on consoles and PC on October 26th – keep your eyes glued to TechRadar for our complete thoughts leading up to release.
